Okay, FINALLY a better picture of this manicure. I impressed myself with this one. It came out better than I had imagined and I wanted to share a better picture of it with you. I also wanted to explain it a bit better.
I used a base coat, a very shimmery blue green Pure Ice color. The name eludes me, and I don’t have access to the bottle right now. I then stamped the fishnet image (one of my favorites) with Konad black. My nails are longer than the image, but in this mani it didn’t matter. I just focused on the top.
I then cut a little nugget off of a make up sponge, and I also dumped a bit of a cheap black (LA Colors) on the back of a konad plate. I picked up the nugget with a pair of tweezers and sponged the black polish on to the bottom part of the nail. After all of that I painted some black on to the bottom to make it really dark and give it a wonderful gradient.
As you can tell, this was messy. Very messy. I had to go to town with the nail polish remover :D The results were worth it. I can’t stop looking at this mani and I love it!!!
