This time I had my photography helper.
This was so much fun to do. Maybe more like this in the future. I’ve lost a lot of weight. I’ve been eating right and exercising quite a bit. I’m no longer scared to show off my body. I feel amazing.

Isn’t Kevin’s smile infectious? I guess that is the face he makes that made me fall in love with him to begin with.

Hempfest 2011 Pics
Sorry for taking so long on this. I have been busy! My son started kindergarten today. We are all kind of upset, our friend lost his son in a car accident. So shall we get to the happy?
This is the main stage, well the side of it anyway. I didn’t want to try and get to the front. The headliner was playing. Kotton Mouth Kings? Never heard of them, and I didn’t care for their music. I’m a snob like that.
Kevin and I chilling with some other stoners in the shade. We were just having a really relaxed time.
This lady was so cute and nice! I ended up going into their dispensary later, where I met more nice people who pretty much bent over backwards to help me become medicated :D
My Son’s 5th Birthday
Well, the drama from this day has subsided, and new drama has taken it’s place. This may be the last post you will see from me for a while. I might be moving on to a new location. At this point, I am not really sure what is going on lol.
So pictures yes?
It is really hard for me to be in pictures, because I am the only one who ever takes pictures. I had to demand a friend snap some photos. Am I the only one who hates doing this? Most people, I find, can barely take snap shots. Even after I give somebody a basic crash course on photography, I get one or two shots like this. Anyway, I am done complaining about that right now.
His Cars cake. My mother and I had gotten into a fight. I was very specific that I was not interested in dropping 30 dollars for a cake, when I could make a better, nicer cake for practically nothing (I have all the stuff to make a cake lol). She basically made me out to be a bad cheap mom because of that and went out and bought the cake herself. The rest of the afternoon was spent complaining about how much it all cost.

All of Courtney’s daughters and my one son lol. Brooklyn, Francis, Amanda and Little Ashley… all piled into Francis’ truck. It couldn’t haul all 4 of them, they were just posing for a picture for me.

Well this picture is a couple of months old.
I was just going through some of my pictures, trying to organize them (why does organizing things have to be so hard for me….), and I was like, “Wow, doesn’t Francis look cute?” So I am letting this picture see the light of day. So to speak lol.
I think he and I were goofing off that day. I’m not sure who’s idea it was, but some carefully placed eyeliner later…
I love having fun with my kid and doing silly goofy stuff. It also helps that I have my camera on me most of the time.

This is a picture of me, dancing, of all things, with my friend Jimmy. Jimmy is wearing a Morph Suit (it says so, across his butt). Apparently, he won this green monstrosity in a Facebook contest. Wow. Good for him. He was having some serious fun in this suit.

One more shot of my cousin, Sonya. I am having a good old time retouching these photos and making them just perfect. I don’t get a lot of people banging down my door to model for me.
These make me happy.
Oh yeah, and sorry if I wont be posting much in the coming weeks. Drama. My ex wants to do battle over my kid, so battle we shall. I am super stressed out from it >_< ughghghghgh Some people are lucky. If stupidity were illegal, at least 2 people I know would be in a lot of poopoo.
Sonya is my cousin.
We didn’t always know we were related though. Unfortunately, her father passed away when she was 18. A few days after we found out, I was hanging out with my mother. She proceeded to tell me she was upset because her father’s brother passed away a few days before.
It didn’t take very long to figure out that the two were one and the same.
Anyway, Sonya loves being super awesome glamorous (it runs in our family). She did her hair and make up. I took her behind the falling apart mall that is next door to my house.
I did a few shots of her like this one. I used my favorite piece of graffiti as her back drop.

I love my son. I love watching him grow into an awesome young man, that anybody would be lucky to know.
Last week he went out on my patio and started writing his name on the cement. At the start of the school year (he is almost 5, and in pre-school), he could only write a couple letters of his name. Now Francis can write ‘Francis’ with no help at all.
LOL I don’t think I learned to write my name correctly till the 3rd grade. Not my fault though. Every teacher I had ever had before that had taught me to spell my name wrong. I had no idea you could spell my name ‘Ashleigh’ and you can imagine my shock as my 3rd grade teacher had informed me that for the last 4 years I had been spelling my name incorrectly.
What the hell teachers!?! You suck.
